Cookie policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This cookie policy explains which cookies luxevastgoedcostas.com uses and how you can manage your choices, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the website to remember information between page views, such as your settings.
2. Cookies we use
We use only first-party cookies, set by luxevastgoedcostas.com itself:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| lvc_consent | Stores your cookie and map choice | 12 months | First party, necessary |
| lvc_locale | Remembers the language you chose manually via the language switch (only set when you do so) | 12 months | First party, functional (necessary for the service you request) |
| lvc_stats | Login session for the statistics portal, only for authorised staff, never for visitors | 12 hours | First party, necessary |
On your first visit to the bare domain, the home page uses your browser's language setting once to send you to the matching language. Nothing is stored for that.
3. No analytics or advertising cookies
We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. Our visitor statistics are measured by our own system without cookies or local storage; how that works is explained in our privacy policy.
The automatic translation of property descriptions (OpenAI) runs on our server and sets no cookies.
4. Maps
The interactive maps load map tiles, fonts and styles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org), an external map service based on OpenStreetMap data. This sends your IP address and browser data to that provider. OpenFreeMap sets no cookies via our website.
The maps stay switched off until you choose Accept all or enable Map in your preferences. If you refuse, only the maps are disabled; all properties remain available in the list view.
5. Third-party websites
If you follow a link to another service, such as WhatsApp, that service may use its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those cookies.
6. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the website will no longer remember your choices, and you may be asked for them again.
